MSHA TRAINING SCHEDULE
2010
GE SAFETY TRAINING AND CONSULTING
Classes are scheduled on a first come first served basis.
Weekend classes will only be conducted for class size of 4 or more people.
Even though a certain class is scheduled for that day,
if no one has signed up then classes
will be available as needed.
I will not have someone in a class for 12
hours, the optimum number of students is
15 per instructor
NM = New Miner, SUR = Surface, UG = Underground
ARF = Annual Refresher
Class Time 7:00am to 4:00pm
New Miner Surface
is
24 hours, 8 hours each day, for three days.
New Miner Underground
is
32 hours, 8 hours each day, for four days.
Per MSHA, the remainder of the 8 hours of Underground training has to be at the mine site, that the person will be working.
Annual Refresher is held
on
Mondays and Fridays
AFR class for Mondays will be held at the Comfort Inn, In Elko
Aug:
30th, ARF and 1st Day of NM SUR Training.31st, 2nd Day NM Surface Training.
Sep:
ALL CLASSES FROM THE 30TH THRU THE 2ND ARE FULL
DUE TO A FAMILY EMERGENCY NEXT CLASS WILL BE THE 7TH.
7th, ARF, 1st Day NM Sur
8th & 9th, 2nd and 3rd Day Surface, and 1st day NM Underground is on the 9th.
10th, NM Underground Training.
13th, ARF only.
14th, ARF only.
Remainder of classes will be avalible on an emergency basis and will only be for surface training.
Remainder of Sept is EMT Confrence.
