MSHA MIIN NUMBER:  Miners Individual Identifcation Number, MSHA is now requesting everyone in mining to obtain a Individual Identification Number, this number can be obtained on line. Visit www.msha.gov in the left hand sub menu you will see the title MIIN, click on this and follow the directions,  if you should need assistance please call 775-777-1186 or 775-397-2709.   The MIIN number is going to replace the need for employee's to use their SSN on the 5000-23.
